At the tender age of fifteen, Angus Christopher joined the Royal Saint Lucia Police Band as a Band Apprentice. With his profound dedication and enthusiasm towards the force and his work, he was promoted to Police Constable. In 1993, Angus parted ways with the organisation to pursue a career on a cruise ship as a Band Leader. The highlight of his cruising experience was the world cruise on the Queen Elizabeth II in 2003. Eleven years later, he rejoined the Police Band in 2004 and currently holds the post of a Police Corporal.
In the late 80s, he toured the United States of America and Europe with Reasons Orchestra as a keyboard player and on lead vocals. He also formed part of the Sounds Together band as a keyboardist.
In 2005, he initiated a music band called “Phaze”. This band provided entertainment to several hotels across the island. The success of “Phaze” led to the formation of a subsequent band called “DYP”. Post the formation of DYP, Angus experimented with sound and rooted himself in a new passion as a sound engineer. Sound would give birth to some very special feelings. His aim was to mix a variety of sounds to create a great piece of art. He has always aimed to provide his clients with the best sound experience. This propelled the creation of Lepe Entertainment and Island Sounds Ltd.
Angus possesses amazing listening skills which fuels his ability to turn to his advantage the quality of the sound to enhance any project he undertakes. He carries a well established history for providing exceptional sound for several events and carnival bands in Saint Lucia. These include but are not limited to some of the most popular events; the Festival of Lights, Assou Square, October Fest, U4RIA, Red Unlimited Carnival Band, Fuzion Mas Carnival Band , World of Wonder (WOW), Mercury Beach, Youth Fest, Rize and most recently Colour Me Red. He has also managed several popular music bands on the island including Evalucian, Illusion, En'Voice, DYP and Phaze.
Most notably, Angus took flight and brought his sound expertise with him to the Dominica Creole Jazz Festival in May 2022 as sound engineer and at the Silk City Fest in Connecticut, USA in August 2021 as the Front of House Engineer.
As a musician, Angus is armed with the powerful gift to mix various sounds to give a heavenly experience.
With this talent, he continues to leave all his teammates, clients and peers in awe.
